Kelly Clarkson is an American artist and singer. She became the nation's sweetheart when she won the American Idol title in the first season of the show. This win did more than propel her into the limelight, but also earned the singer a multi-album contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings and 'S Records. Since her win, she's released a number of studio albums. From these, 3 reached the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were just a few centimeters away. Her name is one of the top artists to made it through American Idol. As her career progressed it was evident that she experimented with new themes and styles of music. Often co-writing songs to express her feelings. To acknowledge her talents and uniqueness, she has received lots of praise and awards. One of her most memorable achievements is the fact that she was awarded 3 Grammy awards. Alongside her career in music, she has appeared in films and TV shows. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a children's story written by her. In addition, she was active in charity work as well as numerous other organisations.
