KingBennett was signed to Durk's record label Only the Family after his collaborations. The stage name he adopted was King Von, he subsequently achieved his first professional success with his debut single "Crazy Story," it was released in December of the year 2018. The track ranked in the Billboard Hot 100 at number at 81 and the Hot Hip-Hop/R&B Songs Chart at 32. Additionally, the song received thousands of YouTube views. Von also released "Crazy Story 2.0" The sequel to his hit song. This sequel features Lil Durk and is a remake of the original. This was in the month of September. Crazy Story 3.0 was made available as a sequel/remix.
